- PPS picks up all mail, including Flats, Certified, Stamped, Priority, and Express mail each day, Monday through Friday.
- Each letter-size piece is barcoded, presorted by Zip Code and delivered to the post office each evening.
- All presorted mail must include the inscription “PRESORTED FIRST- CLASS.”

METERING SERVICE
- PPS meters your letter-size mail for 3.5 cents per piece and flats for 6.0 cents.
- All letter-sized mail is metered at presort postage rates. Flats, Certified, Express, and Priority mail are metered at full postage rates.
- Certified Mail is metered for 3.5 cents. Certified Receipts are stamped at post office and returned to you the next day. (Please write your company name on your Certified Receipt)
- Priority and Express mail is metered for 4.5 cents.

GUIDELINES TO AVOID MAIL DELAY
- Non-serif type style
- Machine printed or typewritten (no handwritten or script fonts)
- ALL CAPS WORKS THE BEST
- 8 to 18 point type (10 or 12 work preferred)
- Left justified
- No punctuation
- Dark ink on light background
- Clear and sharp letters without overlap
- Entire address clearly visible in window
- Parallel to bottom edge of envelope
- Don't abbreviate city names
